There are many brands of residential grade locks available. Each individual brand can be keyed to the same key or they can be keyed differently depending on your specific needs. Have you heard of theives bumping locks? One preventative is to use locks that are bump proof. Most locks available in the retail market that claim to be bump proof can easily be defeated in other ways. Schlage makes an Everest series that cannot be bumped. The locks are designed with a special pin in the bottom of the lock which takes a special key to raise this pin. If the key is cut to the right depths for the top pins the key will turn allowing entry. I can provide these locks.
